US President Donald Trump now has a space force called the Space Force. When announcing its new logo, Space Force was the subject of a mockery because its logo was similar to the Star Trek logo.
Reported by Cnet, the Space Force logo is exhibited by Trump through his personal Twitter account. In his tweet, he said the logo design was created after consultation with military leaders and designers.

Not long after, netizens and observers of Star Trek who were observant immediately showed the similarity of the Space Force logo to the Starfleet Command’s logo. The similarity is seen from the arrows, the lines around the arrows, the stars in the background and the placement of the text.
In the Star Trek universe itself, Starfleet is a uniformed space force under the United Federation of Planets. Starfleet’s main task is to do space exploration, research, defense, maintain peace and diplomacy.
A number of Hollywood celebrities also mentioned this logo. Like George Takei, who plays Captain Sulu in the original Star Trek TV series, and Mark Hamill, known as Luke Skywalker in Star Wars.
But there are also other netizens who say that the new Space Force logo follows the logo of other US military branches.
This is not the first time the Space Force has been the target of netizens’ criticism. Recently, the camouflage-camouflage patterned Space Force uniform was criticized for its army-like appearance.
