The shirt design revives a gingham pattern, which is highlighted by a stylish ribbed v-neck collar with narrow piping of black color. As per the designer, the Manchester United home shirts for the 2012/13 season were constructed with recycled polyester fabric and Dri-Fit technology in order to provide the players and fans with a supreme comfort during the warm matches. The shirt features red color and short sleeves.
